  • Crib orbedside co-sleeper crib
  • Crib mattress
  • 2 x fitted crib sheets
  • 2 x waterproof mattress covers
  • 2 x Sleeping bags
  • Baby monitor
  • Diaper changing table / crib-top diaper changer
  • Moses basket or bassinet
  • Blackout curtain
  • Travel crib

2. ON THE GO

  • Car seat (essential for bringing baby home from the hospital in a car or taxi) Make sure the seat fits with your stroller
  • Stroller that your car seat fits onto and works for a newborn
  • Rain cover for the stroller – rain cover for pram or pushchair – buy the one that goes with your pram or pushchair brand
  • Front baby carrier or sling
  • Sunshades for the car windows
  • Warm blanket or bunting bag to wrap baby in during winter strolls
  • Diaper bag filled with diapers, wipes, diaper cream, spare outfit and portable changing mat, diaper bags, muslin, hand sanitizer, bottle warmer

3. FEEDING

  • 8 x bottles with newborn nipples
  • Bottle-cleaning brush or a dishwasher basket
  • Baby formula – don’t stock up on too much in case you need to change to a different formula
  • 3 x nursing bras
  • 2 x boxes of nursing pads
  • 7 x cotton bibs
  • 7 x burp cloths
  • Nipple cream
  • Bottle sterilizer
  • Insulated cooler/carrier for outings
  • Bottle warmer – great for having in your diaper bag
